New.... and feeling snarky

Hello,

I have been TTC for almost a year, with PCOS, and have had little luck.

My poor DH has been amazing and supportive, but I think it is only fair to find another place to share/vent.

I have been checking out the boards for a few months, and relate to so many of the community stories, I look forward to joining!

To start- my good friend/cousin is KU with ther 3rd, and is having a baby shower on my birthday...... she knows about my PCOS/clomid/no ovulation history, and has otherwise been supportive of this whole endeavor, but come on, she's mad because I don't want to spend my birthday celebrating her third baby?

Any other day, I'd go.... at least for a bit.... but  I think I'm going to go sheck out the Picasso's at the museum and drink some frickin wine......

Welcome! I am new too. I need to make a post. That just sucks about your friend's shower being on your birthday. I wouldn't go either. I hope to run into you again around here!

Aw I'm sorry that your friend would do this to you! I kinda know how you feel. I was TTC for 3 & 1/2 years with DH and everytime I turned around this certain friend of mine was having another d*mn baby! They couldn't even take care of the one they had and then popped two more out in two years. I didn't even want to go see them when they were born. (I did but usually left crying and calling DH and asking how life could be so unfair for all the sh!tty parents to be getting more children and not us.)

And who has a shower for their third child anyways???
