Question from a 3-6er

Hi there,

My LO just turned 5 months old.  In the last couple days he's started doing a kind of a modified "combat crawl"... he gets up on his hands (or sometimes elbows), scoots his knees under him, and then pushes forward!  He's getting pretty much anywhere he wants with a little effort.

My question -- how long after your LO started doing the combat crawl was he/she crawling for real?  I'm kind of expecting him to start crawling and walking early because DH was WALKING when he was 8 months old!!

DS started crawling last week, and was army crawling/scooting for about 4-5 wks before that.

DD did the army crawl for about three weeks before she actually "started crawling".

DD army crawled at 5 months, and didn't truly crawl until 9 months. So it took her a whopping 4 months to figure it out! lol.
