Uh-oh (NIFR)

I just broke the garbage disposal. DH is upstairs doing homework & I don't want to tell him. He's in a bad mood & I know he's just going to get mad at me. I tried pouring Drano down there, but nothing.

    I thought ours was broke once....but come to find out there is a reset button on it.  DH pushed it and it was working again!!   It should be located on the part under the sink. GL!

    I was going to say the same thing!  Try the reset button and see if that works.  G/L! 

    (and just a little "PSA"... do not put banana peels, lots of celery, artichokes, or corn husks down the disposal (unless maybe you have a really good one)!!  i've broken/jammed a few of them over the years, mostly in college and shortly after college... whoops!)

    DH wasn't mad, fortunately! He just laughed at me! Big Smile LOL! We ended up having to take the pipe apart & empty it. It only took a few minutes, but it's fixed!
