pumping question

for those of you who pumped or are pumping is it normal to get much less from one side consistently than the other.  I have been pumping since my son was born over 9 weeks ago and it has always been slightly different from one side to the other but now it is more like half the amount consistently or even less sometimes.

Re: pumping question

  • Totally normal.  Different breasts will have different capacities.

My right is always left than my left.  Was true for my son, and now true for my girls.

  • Very normal. This past week I have been getting less from my left than my right. The week before it was the opposite. Crazy!

  • I didn't notice the first time around, but didn't pump much. This time, I get a lot more out of the right than the left each time.
