Serta Mattress

I know with everything else going on I'm sure people's thoughts are in a totally different place.

Miller's mattress is a serta that we bought from BRU right before he was born.  Well here we are 3 months later and the mattress is already starting to sag in the middle.  When I try and place him in different areas of the bed he always ends back up in the middle b/c it's like he rolls in that spot b/c of the sagging mattress.  I'm planning to replace the mattress this weekend b/c I don't feel BRU will do anything for us considering I don't have the receipt anymore.  Aren't mattresses supposed to last longer than that? We opted for one that cost a little more and was a little firmer than the others thinking we'd get more use out of and now I'm having to replace it after 3 months.   I started thinking that maybe it was because he is a bigger baby, but mattresses don't label there product by "baby's weight" I assume they're supposed to hold up b/c mattresses get used for a long time.  I'm just so frustrated because now I have to go in search of another mattress, pay out the money and then I'm not gonna be sure it's any better.  Do you guys have any suggestions or ideas on what I can do about this.  Plus, what kind of mattress do ya'll use for your LO?

Re: Serta Mattress

  • That is crazy.  I would contact my local BRU and explain to them what has happened and see if they can do anything.

  • I'm with Christy.  Lydia is even using my nephew's old mattress and it's in tip top condition.  I don't remember the brand.  And those things aren't cheap!!!
  • That's not right that his mattress is already wearing out.  I'd definitely contact BRU or Serta about it.  We've got the organic Serta mattress and haven't had any problems with it so far.
