It's a little early, but I am starting to think about names for this baby (#2). As with my daughter, we will not find out the sex, so we need to have one ready for each gender. I'm not too worried about boy names... we had a lot that we liked last time. I am, however, VERY worried about girl names. I love my daughter's name, Georgia, but I can't think of any other girl names that I like nearly as much... or really that much at all (I guess I'm really picky). We tend to like classic, but not common, names (like Georgia!). We have tossed around Charlotte, but I have a Charlotte in my family that I wouldn't want to name a baby after. Same thing goes for Josephine (another one I like) but that one is in my husband's family. I liked Isabel, which was my grandmother's middle name, but that is way too popular for me now.
Does anyone have any fresh ideas for girl names that fall into this category and would sound good with Georgia?

Thanks!
Some of the names you guys are mentioning are ones we have tossed around... like Ruby and Scarlett. I just have not decided whether I am in LOVE with either of those names yet. But interesting that you bring them up! Oh, and my husband likes Hazel (and wanted to name Georgia that) but it's bordering on old lady-ish for me.
I appreciate all the suggestions and will need to stew them over for a while. Some that I would potentially like (like Lucy) might be out because I know someone that recently named her daughter that... not sure if that will exclude it for me or not. But thanks, and keep the suggestions coming!!
Eh, you might want to stay away from Scarlett--I think it's too much with Georgia considering the whole Gone with the Wind thing--it comes across as a little gimmicky.
My suggestions would be: Margaret, Helen, Eleanor, Catherine/Katherine, Elizabeth, Anna, Sarah, Susan, Caroline. Caroline would be pushing the state connection, but I think you could get away with it!
I also like Hazel and it's becoming rather trendy, so it probably won't be associated with old ladies for long.
Eleanor, Violet, Lucy, Margaret, Clara, Martha, Maeve, Vivian, Rose, Jocelyn, Ruby, Louise, Louisa, Amelia............
ladies, she is not giving birth to an eighty year old lady! Some of the names mentioned are hideous!
What about another "location" name and go with Brooklyn?
I'm in favor of Asheleighye or Maddeysyn.
(and hope you know I'm joking).
Oh my gosh, those were at the top of my list! I guess I'll take them off. :-p
Anyway, I don't know if anyone is still watching this thread or not, but what do you think of Matilda? I like that one actually... does it sound okay with Georgia to you? (I don't know how my husband feels about this one... I seem to recall a somewhat negative reaction when it came up before but I'm not sure)...
