the woombie?

Has anyone used the woombie? I had a stranger at BRU recommend it to me, and it looks great from what I see online, but i don't know anyone who has used it.

I haven't used it yet since my baby's not here yet, but I heard good things.  I bought one and we'll see how he likes it...

i haven't used this but when I was on the 0-3 month board moms would rave about this swaddle and the miracle blanket.  I used the swaddleme and the halo sleepsack, both of which my son eventually escaped from.  By the time I was going to try the woombie we decided to stop swaddling.

We tried three different swaddling methods -- Swaddle Me, Woombie, and Miracle Blanket.

The Swaddle Mes suck. DS could bust out of them when he was a mere 2 weeks old. He'd get his hands up by his face and wake himself up constantly.

I had high hopes for the Woombie, but I wasn't a fan. It was nice and snug, but he was still able to get his hands up to the top...and he'd wake up because his hands were right by his face but he couldn't suck on them. And that just p*ssed him off.

The Miracle Blanket was our savior. He went from sleeping 2-3 hours max to sleeping 5+ hours within days of using the MB. Every baby is different, of course, but for us the MB was the winner, hands down.

We have one called a SwaddleMe Pod which is almost exactly like the Woombie but quite a bit cheaper and we love it!  That is one of the items that has gotten us through the first 2 weeks.  I took it to the hospital and DS has slept in it every night since.
