halloween costumes!

Is anyone dressing up for Halloween? If so, what are you being? DH and I are going to a Halloween party and trying to decide what to be. We are between Mary Poppins and chimney sweeper or Don Draper and Betty from Madmen.

Those are both cute ideas.  I love to dress up but we never have trick or treaters, and DH is not a dress up kind of guy! 

If my ET works on Weds, I imagine that we will be staying home and relaxing for Halloween!

We're not dressing up.  But the Fur babies are!  Scooby is going as Super Scooby, complete with a cape with the Scooby Doo emblem on it.  Bella is going as Jennifer Beal from Flash Dance.  I made her 4 leg warmers and I need to get her a sweat shirt still.  And Coco is going as a Red Rose from Spanish Harlem since she is part Chihuahua.

Oh my gosh, those are the most adorable costumes ever! I think my baby (she's a five month old chihuahua) would kill me and try to hide the evidence if I dressed her up! She is sweet as pie but a spit-fire for sure!! So cute, do they keep them on???

I don't think I'm dressing up, but I LOVE, LOVE the mary poppins.chimney sweeper costumes. Adorable! I've wanted to be pebbles and bam bam for years but we haven't done it yet. Sigh, maybe one day...

We are not dressing up, but our pup is.  In the pic below he was a mailman last year.  This year we haven't decided yet.  He did try on a lobster costume the other day, but it didn't fit just right, so we are going to keep looking.

Thank you!  For the most part they do. Scooby is really chill with it all, he'll wear anything I put him in.  Coco has to have some light and isn't to restrictive so her costume is just around her collar.  I've never dressed Bella up so I am hoping she'll do good.  I'll take pictures and pip for sure.

DH and I are going as Snow White and "Prinz Charmin'"  I have a  real Snow White costume, but there's no way DH would ever go as the real Prince Charming, so we're "white trashing him up."  So, he'll have on a stained wife- beater, suspenders, he's going to grow out his beard, we'll rip his jeans, he'll have on untied work boots, a John Deere hat and we'll black out a few of his teeth.  OH, and he'll carry around a 40 of PBR all night (he's really looking forward to that!)  And of course I'll smudge "Prinz Charmin'" on his gross shirt...should be good for a laugh or two!

Our Halloween party is this weekend, I'm going as a go go dancer and if H is home, he'll be going as a hippie. (It's a 50's, 60's and 70's themed party)

For actual Halloween, I'll be a witch.

I just ordered our Halloween costumes yesterday - we're going to be Juno and Bleeker! You can buy the whole running outfit for Bleeker (yellow shorts, striped socked, sweatbands, etc) and I bought myself the Slinky shirt that Juno wears.
