I got my flu shot yesterday!  Stick out tongue

 

Seriously though, I did, and it went fine for it being the first one I have ever gotten, but damn is my shoulder sore.  It feels like Mike Tyson punched me there.  Ditto for DH bc I made him get one too.

    Its weird that I'm completely OK with blood draws, but upper arm shots completely freak me out! I'm getting my flu shot next week and it gives me the willies just thinking about it!

    That's funny, I'm the complete opposite.  I give myself a shot monthly in my arm, but blood draws (and blood generally) make me woosy.

    The flu shot soreness doesn't last very long (just a couple days).  It will wear off.  Now, the tetanus shot is a different story.  I was sore for weeks.
