did u have diarrhea before you m/c?

Now looking back on the week of my m/c I remember that I suddenly started having diarrhea a couple of days before I found out about the m/c.The said that the baby had probably just died that week.

Previously I had been pretty consitpated which I know is very normal. I just started reading the book Empty Arms (very good by the way) but in it the author talks about getting having this switch happen too right before she found out her baby had died.

I was just wondering if there might actually be something to this and if anyone else experienced this.

Regardless, I have a feeling that next pregnancy I will get extremely anxious and worried if I ever have diarrhea!

*I think I might have just gotten the record for using the word diarrhea so many times. Sorry if its gross or TMI but thats what happened.

i didn't notice the diarrhea right before the m/c news...but i've had it ever since.  i wrote it off as nerves since the news.

I did, and I have since read that it can be a symptom.... your body's reaction to a mixture of things-- the baby dying, unnoticed or unrecognized pain, etc.

I did about 1-2 days before the bleeding started. I just thought it was something I ate. I felt awful.

I had it a few days before I found out that I had miscarried... I remember the night before I got D I was shaking/shivering uncontrollably when I was lying in bed, it was the weirdest thing.  I think that's when something went wrong, as crazy as it sounds.

I also got it when I think my body must have been trying to miscarry (missed).  I had a couple of days of pretty bad diarrhea and a horrible headache. 

I am now waiting to miscarry or get a D&C next week, I have had diarhea on and off for the past few days...so maybe it will start soon.

Interesting to think that this could be a sign of m/c in some cases.

I had diarrhea a few days before and then also had it the morning I started to bleed.  It was very out of the ordinary for me - as I usually don't have those kind of stomach issues.
