f/u to GD test

The wait was the hardest part at 1 hour. I drank 10 oz of an orange liquid. Kinda like the syrup they would put in a slushie is the best way I can describe. Everything went fine, drew my blood, and now I just wait til the 21st for my next appointment. I hate waiting.

I took my test on Thursday and got the results on Monday - but I got mine done at Quest Diagnostics so they had to send my bloodwork away to the lab.

I took mine last Thursday-I drank the stuff, did the usual check up, and at 1 hour they drew my blood. Haven't heard back with results yet, but I am hoping this means I passed.

I asked this to the nurse today. I have to wait til my next doctor's appointment. And that's the 21st. I suppose every doctor's office is different with the way they handle the results, but yeah more waiting here. Although in the paperwork from the doc it read I would hear something if there was a problem. So for now it's a  wait and see kind of thing.

I watched a movie on my iPad while I waited, and have decided I'm loading up tv shows onto the iPad for all future dr. appts. they are always running late!

I had my 1 hour test monday and got a call from doctor's office today telling me I failed. I have an appointment to take the longer test this friday at 8am. My next dr's appointment is on the 14th of this month - hoping this test will have better results!

I'm so nervous to take this test!  My Dr has not scheduled it yet, and I really hope they don't just spring it on my at my appt friday.  I have eaten Sooo much sugar in the past week.  My feet have been a little swollen so I'm not thinking real positive.  I'm starting to feel really big, ugh I hope it's not til the next appt!
