Those of you who make baby food for you LO, what type of containers do you use to freeze the food? Since I am a SAHM this year, I was planning on trying to make DD baby food. Any tips you have found would be great!!
a lot of people use ice cube trays. I had individual containers from one step ahead. I liked those bu tnext time will use ice cube trays also b/c it is cheaper.
I made it easy by doing it all in one day. I would get all my veggies and have all 4 burners going to steam them. Also had stuff in the oven. Than used my blender and food processor as stuff got done cooking. Dh would wash it after every veggie/fruit. If you use trays (I didn't) you will have to wait for each veggie to freeze in the tray so I would just pour the other veggies into tupperware and put them in the fridge and as stuff froze pop the cubes out into a bag and freeze the next item.
Ive been using Ice cube trays. They are cheaper than the "baby food trays". After they are done freezing, I just pop them into a ziplock baggy. Ive also found this website to be helpful https://wholesomebabyfood.com/
DS has acid relux and milk protein allergy, and had torticollis, used to EP,
now we FF .

i tried using ice cube trays but I had a very hard time getting them out. I kept breaking the trays. so I got silicone mini muffin trays. worked much easier to get the food out of the trays. then after they were frozen, I would put them in ziplock baggies.
Thanks everyone. I have looked at the wholefoods website and saw some good stuff. I will have to try the small silicone trays as well since I have some at the house.

Mommy's little helper
I am not there yet, but my bf hated these. She cut herself a few times trying to get the food out.

I also use ice cube trays and once frozen, just put them into a ziplock back. Works great!
This is what I did.. although I needed DH to get the food out of the ice cube trays for me
I bought some trays with lids at Babies R Us. I did some with the ice cube trays too, but liked having the lids.
We still use them now. I divide pasta sauce and freeze, so I can make a quick pasta lunch or dinner for her.
