TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

CP: TTCAL (helps me) throw a dinner party

The monthly supper club is at my house this month - meaning I pick the theme and everyone brings a dish around that. Previous themes include: Mexican, Italian, Chinese, End-of-Summer picnic, and Haystacks.

It will need to be vegetarian and it's a mix group regarding their openness to new/weird foods.

  • I like the balls the best but I really like ball foods- rice balls, meatballs, etc... but I think the sports thing is really cool too!

  • I LOVE the idea of a trailer trash party! That would be awesome.

I think casseroles + ketchup + tots + Velveeta anything = wonderfully tacky... just not sure this crowd would embrace their inner redneck.

  • I think you already know my vote.

  • I voted "other" - I think you should go with fondue. You could have a bunch of different things to dip the stuff in, roasted & raw veggies, cheeses, breads. I'm not sure if it all needs to be vegetarian or just vegetarian friendly but this would easily accommodate both and everyone can choose exactly what they want to eat & how much.
