I have been dressing like a total slob this week. My maternity clothes barely fit anymore and I refuse to buy more at 38 weeks. I want to look like a girl again..one without an extra 35 pounds.

I ate a big chocolate chip cookie at 2:30 this morning half asleep. It's the first time I ate anything in the middle of the night this whole pregnancy but I HAD to have that cookie!

But I must.  DH requested chicken soup (Colombian...I have to go to the store and get like 5 different potatoes).  And I have to clean the bathroom.

H still hasn't read the baby name book and I am not reminding him because if she is born and he hasn't made an effort with the name book her name will be Lila.

Oh and one more. My MIL had a meeting regarding her divorce yesterday that I have yet to hear about but I secretly hope she got absolutely NOTHING from her ex husband. He's a good man and my MIL is a lazy unmotivated chain smoking slob. Her own 84 year old mother has been paying her rent for the past 4 months because she refuses to get a job since her "hips hurt" sometimes. She wasn't married to her ex very long but wants spousal support to pay ALL her bills until she gets remarried (yeah, like THAT will ever happen) because she "is incapable of working".

Somedays I hope a bus comes out of nowhere and hits her.

If you knew my MIL you'd understand.

Ooh, I have another one! (Of course!) My bff is never around when I want to talk to her or hang out. Mind you, I was there for her first pregnancy everyday bc her SO ditched her. (They have since got back together and have another child - both kids are in school all day) and she never calls. Just sometimes randomly FB emails me to tell me to call her. When I do, she never answers. She is too busy being hungover. I don't have time for such nonsense.

Because of this big belly, I'm down to shaving my legs once a week. I don't even bother for the doctor anymore. I figure they see a lot worse! Speaking of, lady parts definitely need attention before delivery, that's been way too long.

I haven't colored my hair since the end of June. Wouldn't be so bad except I have gray hair peaking out all over the place. I'm like meh, I'm pregnant I can be lazy. It's sad I'm so lazy I won't even have someone else do it though!

I have zero sex drive with this pregnancy...and I mean zero.  Up until this point I've been trying to 'take care' of MH but this week I have the worst insomnia and couldn't care less if his needs are taken care of.  As far as I'm concerned he has his hand and can borrow my belly butter if needed.

I am SOOO DONE being pregnant.  I am pushing DH to have sex every night.  and taking my son on walks trying to get some contractions going... 

 

yes flame me, I am still 7 days from 37 weeks.  I am not sleeping at all.  I wake up with cramps in my legs, and restless legs.  I am trying to nap in the mornings, but my work is busy and I am on the phone most mornings!!!  urgh...  

 I know I will sleep more/better after baby.  because at least I can sleep when she does.  i will not be wide awake with leg cramps peeing, etc..

This is more of a rant...but, whatever. I want to punch my cousin in the face. She was freaking out the other night because her son had consumed almost a whole can of the beetle tainted Similac an she was crying hysterically about it threatening to sue and all this other nonsense. The kicker...this is the same person who "didn't know" she was pregnant until she peed on a stick at the jail the night she got arrested for a DUI and drug possession. She blew a 1.8. She was 5 months pregnant at the time. She didn't worry about being an alcoholic or a drug user, but the formula threw her over the edge.

My H does this when traffic is locked. hehe He does wear a helmet and doesn't go ridiculous speeds while weaving through moving vehicles though. lol
