Friend had her baby! (PIP)

A friend of mine was due exactly 1mo before me and had her baby last night, on DD's bday. Her little Desmund is 19.5in, 8.2lbs, and a head full of black hair with bright blue eyes. His mommy and daddy couldn't be happier! He's the first grandchild on both sides, so we all know he'll be spoiled rotten!

When I read the first part, I thought you were saying that you friend had her son on the birthday or her DD -- her daughter -- so that she randomly gave birth to two kids in different years but on the same day...

You should have seen what happened on FB when I posted this pic! Since I was in the hospital with PTL just days before, everyone thought this was my baby, including a lot of DH's co-workers. When he walked in a couple of them asked him why he'd come to work when his son was less than 12hrs old. I told my friend I wouldn't tag the photo until she was home from the hospital and had a chance to post her own pics of her and her son.
