How did you ladies celebrate your anniversary after having your first LO? Dinner? Dinner + movie? A day out? Just you and YH or with baby too? I kinda want to go to the beach. Part of me is wondering if we should just bring LO cuz I'd have to pump every 3 hours anyway so it's easier to bring LO and just nurse him instead of looking for a place to pump/plug in pump and bring coolers to bring it home. Or is the beach idea just totally not feasible at this pt? I can't really think of any other ways to celebrate so maybe you ladies can enlighten me with some of your ideas or what you did? TIA!

Re: Anniversary Ideas
Heh, ours was like a week and a half after they were born, so all we wanted to do was sleep. In the end, the ILs watched them for a few hours while we went to dinner and a movie. Nothing exciting, but we weren't up for much at that point!
Oh, and I'd do something with just you and DH. Maybe a shorter trip than to the beach, so you don't have to worry about pumping? Or is your supply well enough established (and you have enough stash in the freezer) that you could skip just one pumping session?
Ours is coming up too (the 29th) and I have no idea what we're going to do. We can leave LO with my mom, but DH will have had a dental procedure the day before and may still be sore from that, plus my accelerated MBA starts on the 27th and I am fairly certain that I will have NO free time from then until I graduate in March 2012. Seriously. Since each course is only 5 weeks long I need to carve out 3-4 hours/day for the program which will be a challenge with a fulltime job and 8 month old baby. Lingering over a long anniversary dinner sounds nice but not if I'll be stressing about reading assignments and school work.
Anyway, in your case, if you want a day at the beach I say bring LO along...because you're right....pumping every three hours, etc. sounds like a drag.
