8 high days?! {CBEFM Rant}

Okay. I know the first month you use it you can get a lot of high days.... but 8 now??? I knew it was too good to be true when my first high day was on CD16.

I know the CBEFM people say not to try to interpret the sticks... but i have do, and i still notice no difference between my high sticks and my low sticks.  

Why does my body have to hate me?

I'm sorry your CBEFM is being douchey.  It just isn't fair that our bodies don't just do as we say when we say!

I had 9 the first month I used it.

The second month it took from CD 7 to CD 12 ... so it reduced to 6.

I have not gotten one low reading yet.

It annoyed me too!

Sorry   Mine never gave me very many, and has actually taken to giving me NONE before my peak days, so I get no warning (other than knowing my cycles relatively well).  It's not a perfect system, but I still prefer it to the alternative.

It's the Clearblue East Fertility Monitor. You pee on a stick every morning and plop it into the machine. The machine then determines on if it's a low day (not fertile), high day (fertile) or peak day (ovulating soon). Most women get a handful of high days before their peak days. They say the first month you get more high days because the machine doesn't know your body yet. Well... that's an understatement here!!!

I do prefer it to OPKs. That's for sure!!

Haha, you poor thing. It's that naturally high estrogen level. The first month think of it more as determining a baseline.

 Oh i noticed you finally got your peak days!! I told you not to rule out this cycle. So, would you like to take some of my high days??

Aw I'm sorry, how many peak days have you had?  This month I am not getting any high or peak days!! (though I don't think that the monitor likes these antibiotics I'm on! because I had good CM, OPK+, and O pains, but still no high or peak readings!)

Have you been OPK'ing or monitoring CM?  I forget if you chart..Good luck this month but I am glad you are still BD'ing away

No peak days yet. I have been monitoring CM, but i'll only chart it if I get EW. I'm taking Evening Primrose Oil which makes me have more CM than usual.... but no real fertile EWCM yet. I'm going to use OPKs too (cause i have some left over) when i think it's getting closer. But honestly, looking at my last 2 cycles, i don't think i'm ready to O yet.

The first month I used mine, I had 7. And then after that I had none, went right from L to P... I suppose that's why I had such a hard time with the OPKs. Also, you're going to get a lot of high's the first time you use it if you have PCOS as you have a higher amount of LH in your system then the "average" woman but it will learn your body by next month. Good luck!
