Baby Jogger City Select Stroller

Hi~

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with thsi particular stroller. I was going to get hte single set and also the 2nd seat kit. My son will be 3 on sept. 20 and will about 3.5 when the new baby boy is born. I liked the Joovy..however there are times when we are out and he falls asleep (like at disney etc) and I noticed on the Joovy he cant sleep. any help is much appreciated!

Re: Baby Jogger City Select Stroller

  • We have the BJ City Elite and LOVE it!  I think it's a great stroller with a smooth ride and full recline.

When we have a second baby, we plan to add the adapter so the car seat will fit on it.  Eventually we might get the little step on that the older child can stand and ride.

  • Hey Sarah! I originally bought the city select and returned it (exchanged it) once the Britax B-Ready came out...I liked it better than the CS b/c it has a shorter frame. To me, pushing the CS was like pushing a normal tandem stroller...I wanted something more of a single, but the option of having the 2nd seat for when Camy wants to sit or sleep. The 2nd seat fully reclines too, so you can have a toddler or a newborn in it. Here is an album on my FB that shows all the configurations (except for the carseat at the bottom...I still need the adapter).

  • Thanks erika! quick question...the seat on the bottom...is that the only position it can be in or are there other ones? i'm worried brandon wont sit down in that one.
  • No problem...it is the only position, but it has a 3 position recline (and lays completely flat). So far, Camryn hasn't had a problem sitting back there (I totally thought she would)...she actually likes climbing in and out of it. BUT...I'm probably gonna keep her in the front / main seat and put the baby in the back...either in the car seat (the car seat can clip into the back adapters) or with it lying flat.
