We lost Aurora on April 21, 2010. I was 35 weeks along when an u/s couldn't find her heartbeat. I was in labor for 12 hours and she was 4lbs 2.8 ounces and 17 1/4 inches long. I always thought that once I was out of the first trimester, nothing could ever go wrong. Boy I wish I had that mentality again.

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). We got KU the second month off the pill. My EDD was Feb 24, 2010. We were really excited and went to the 10 week ultrasound together. It was a missed miscarriage. Our baby died in th 8th week. I chose to wait 2 weeks to see if my body would take care of it naturally, which it did about a week and a half after the ultrasound..

Changed doctors. Started seeing a RE in 5/10. 3 cycles with clomid. Just finished 1 cycle with Follistim and B2B IUI's- anxiously awaiting the results.

Surprise BFP #1 07/10/2009 (although not TTA, not obsessing over charts at this point), missed m/c and D&C 08/12/2009, BFP #2 01/30/2010 (or earlier, not sure what I have in my siggy), identical twins discovered at week 8 u/s, twin-to twin transfusion syndrome diagnosed at week 17 u/s, boys died in utero week 18 due to the rapid onset of TTTS 05/12/2010, D&E 05/19/2010. Approaching EDD at the end of September and TTCAL in hopes of getting our LO before I am out of eggs.

We've been TTC for almost 3 years. I had IUI#2 in Jan 2010, which resulted in my first ever BFP. We were so happy. It was to be the first grandchild on both sides, so our parents were over the moon as well. In April, during the end of the 1st trimester u/s, it was discovered that he didn't have any skull bones, which is an anencephaly diagnosis. Anencephaly is a fatal neural tube defect (NTD).
NTDs were so far away from my radar of "sh!t that could go wrong", as I've been on PNVs since we started TTC, 2.5 years prior. I worried so much about a missed miscarriage, as I had -no- PG symptoms. If it wasn't for beta tests, u/ss, and HPTs, I would have never known I was PG. I felt great the entire time, which made me worry that something was wrong.
Knowing that this was a fatal diagnosis, we knew that there would not be a take home baby in October. We opted to end the pregnancy, and it was the hardest thing we ever had to do. We found out our baby was a boy, and we named him Luke Michael.

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). I lost my 1st in January of this year. Baby measured 6w1d. Had a gut feeling baby was a girl so we named her Hannah Elizabeth. Followed doctors orders waited three cycles before TTC and ended up blessed in June with another BFP. Thought things were going really well this time as I had more symptoms than the first go round and heard two healthy heartbeats at 6w4d and again at 7w6d. Suddenly I started spotting at 10w3d and freaked out. Went in for an u/s and saw that our sweet baby was gone. Baby measured 8w4d. Devastation.

I was shocked and excited that it had happened so quickly. Started bleeding and cramping at 6w4d, luckily we already had an appointment scheduled for that day anyway, went in, saw baby and heartbeat, passed the sac later that night on 5/5. Baby was due on Christmas Day :-( We are now on our 4th cycle of TTCAL.

We'd been trying, not trying/not preventing for 14 months when he said "I think you're pregnant." To prove him wrong, I bought a test on my lunch hour and took it while he showered. I about threw up when 2 lines showed up. The best Valentine's present EVER! When I went in for my 10 week appointment the doctor couldn't find a hb with a doppler. Thank goodness my mama was with me for the following ultrasound showing an empty sack where there had been a beating heart 4 weeks prior. That was the worst April Fools joke EVER. 4 days later I had my d&c.

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). I've only had one, it was our 2nd pregnancy and we'd been trying for 4 months. I started spotting at 6 weeks and went in the next day for an u/s and the OB didn't see anything. That was 3 weeks ago (tomorrow), and I'm still bleeding and going in every few days for blood draws and will continue to do so until my hCG is 0. He usually doesn't test down to 0 with your first loss, but my hCG was being weird and going up and down for a bit.

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). I was a FH and got pregnant right away. But, it seems like at every appt I got bad news after bad news. My first appt, I was sent to the hospital b/c my OB wasn't sure what she was seeing on my U/S. The next appt I found out about my abnormal shaped uterus and large fibroids. I was sent to a high risk OB and then had a NT scan....but that appt went great....No abnormality on the U/S and went in for blood work. Got a call on a road trip from my OB that my blood work came back with 1:10 for Down Syndrome and 1:20 for Spina Bifida. Had to wait a week to have an amnio...that was a horrible wait. Went in for the amnio with DH and I could tell before my HR OB said anything...our baby was not moving and there was no heart beat. I had NO symptoms!!! We had to wait 5 days for my D&E...I cried myself to sleep every night. A week after my D&E I found out about my MTHFR, and several weeks after that I found out our baby had Down Syndrome...no Spina Bifida.
It's been 10.5 months and now I practically have a new uterus. I have been cleared to TTC again after I get my next AF!!!

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). Suprise BFP #2 on March 10, 2010. Discovered subchorionic hemmorage (SCH a.k.a. large blood clot in uterus) on March 22, 2010. After deciding to continue with pregnancy and praying for the best, we lost our 2nd little boy on May 1, 2010 at 12w 6d.

9. What is your favorite thing to do with DH? We rarely have date nights because we are new to the area, but we do get to go out once a month because our gym does "Parents' Night Out." My favorite thing is for us to just spend "us" time together.
10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). My first loss was when I was 22. It was my first pregnancy. It was a missed m/c, diagnosed at my first u/s at 10w1d. My next three losses were last year when I was 26. My first two of the year were chemical pregnancies. My last was another missed m/c at 9w2d.

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es).DH And I started TTC in November of 2009. I got my first BFP in February and had a m/c at the end of February at 6 weeks. I got my second BFP on May 21st and had a misssed m/c at 10 weeks on July 4th. I had a D&C on July 16th!

First off, Thank you for posting this! I have been reading through and it is very nice to learn some things about people and put that with their posts! You ladies are incredibly strong and certainly give me hope that I can get through this crappy phase.

10. Tell us a little bit about your loss(es). My first BFP on 4/16, my U/S on 5/5 showed a collapsing sac and no heartbeat, Dr said it was a blighted ovum. Opted for a D & C
