My bump isn't *that* much bigger than my gut used to be, but I still find myself whacking it on EVERYTHING. I constantly mis-judge my size and try to squeeze through places I just plain don't fit. It reminds me of when I was first going through puberty and hit my growing hips on everything.
I fear I'm giving my poor kid a complex where he will be afraid of walls and chairs, etc. before he's even born! hah!
Anyone else grossly miscalculating how big they've gotten?
Re: My new favorite game apparently is whack-a-baby
Yes! I am constantly bumping my bump into EVERYTHING. I see a space that I used to fit through and think that I can. My poor bump has hit everything from walls, chairs, tables, to people!
But don't worry I don't think your baby will have a complex and be afraid of those things...well aslong as don't go bumping HIM into those same objects while carrying him once he's born.
Yup, I totally have to wear an apron in the kitchen b/c I would run into the edge of the counter every single time I went to just stand and cut/cook something...many an outfit change happened because of it. I've also squished my belly a few times trying to squeeze between tables and chairs.
That makes me glad my oven knob is out of reach of my waist-line! hahaha! I keep thinking I have a pretty good handle on my size, but everyday I'm wrong at least once
This is a good way to look at it - sparing the tatas...

I did almost the same thing! I was making rice krispie bars and somehow managed to turn the stove burner from low heat to high. Not good, lol!
