Can you suck it in? (PIP)

My friends (whom I haven't seen in forever because they all live out of state) have all said about how cute my bump is, and I think it's pretty adorable myself! My aunt told me that I am "too big for how far along" I am, and my mom commented that she saw a girl who was 9 months pregnant that was about my size. Keep in mind I'm 5'8" and wasn't super skinny when this whole process started...

Anyway, I am able to "suck it in" a little bit, which makes me worry that my bump is still more "food baby" than "real baby." Anyone else able to suck in their bellies a little?

Don't listen to them!  That's definitely baby belly! I still have a little pudge on top of my bump, but it's most definitely a bump!

I think you look great! Unfortunately, everyone is going to have an opinion. I've heard everything from "are you sure you aren't having twins? to "you're pregnant?" all in one week. Everyone's view of what a woman should look like during a certain stage in pregnant is completely different-because we all look completely different even at the same stage. I can still suck mine in a little, I imagine that's normal. 

  You're bump is adorable! (and totally the appropriate size!)

You look great!  I'm in the group that had a some 'extra' before the baby, too.  Our bumps are no less baby bumps just because we may have some lovely lady lumps. Soon enough the bump will take over and we'll all look like we've swallowed a beach ball.

I am only recently starting to look pregnant to strangers.. I've only started getting comments in the last week or so.. I started out with a pretty small waist, tho, so people who know me have been commenting for months.  anyway, I can definitely suck mine in!  I don't look like I used to, but when I suck it in, like, as hard as I can I don't look even a little pregnant, just thicker around the middle than I'm used to.  It's different for everybody, we all just gotta learn to love our bellies the way they are

aww your bump is too cute!

i cant suck in my bump anymore.  but theres only been 1 person (my hair dresser)  who doesnt really know me but commented on how im pregnant.  no other strangers have said anything.  my family says i popped back in june (fathers day) but i was still able to suck in my belly then.  who knows!

You look fine! People forget how pregnant people look. My belly goes waaaay down if I'm laying down and I can suck it in a little. It's extra bad this time though cause I have zero abs!

This happened to me, too, last week, but it was two days in a row.  Like my bump changes that much from day to day!

I think you look great! As far as sucking it in, no, I can't. But as old habit, when I'm in the shower shaving, I find myself "sucking it in" to get a better view of what I'm doing. Although it doesn't do much at this point.

LOL!!!  Me too!  I feel like I'm doing the Helen Keller version of grooming anywhere lower than my hips!  hahaha!

To the OP, I am the SAME way too!  It sucks because you are feeling really good about things & then someone makes a comment - you're too big, or you're so small - I get a complex.  I wasn't small to start with either, so maybe that's part of it?  Dunno.  BUT you look GREAT!!!  Cute pic & cute bump!

I notice that in the morning when I wake up my stomach is alot smaller, as the day goes on it gets bigger and bigger and then starts all over again the next day. sooo weird!
