so i finally found a bottle my baby can properly latch onto (NUK bottles). she latches onto it and gets nothing out of it, though. it was even medium flow (she uses slow flow). i called their customer service & they said they'd never heard of this problem, tho i see it in some of the reviews online.
anybody familar with these bottles and know why my 8 week old wouldn't be able to get the formula out? the flow is fine when i tip it upside down.
Re: NUK bottles
The medium flow is still 20x slower than any slow flow nipple. I have no idea how anyone successfully uses these bottles. Also, the nipple has to be facing a certain way.
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
as ridiculous as it sounds i was thinking of trying the fast flow. i think it's supposed to be easier for breastfed babies because it's harder work to get the formula out i guess? but like... i don't understand how in the world she can't get any at all. i've been putting the vent the right direction but maybe i'm not sticking it in far enough?
grrr i'm frustrated because her latch is so good on these, and it sucks on every other bottle.
