I love the name Sutton. I had an old BF with that name, so it's out for us...but I'm a fan of the name itself.

Too harsh. Try saying it out loud for a week and see if you still like it. We have a friend who named their son Sutton and he now goes by his mn. It's just awkward to say. People get lazy and say Sut'n.

I had a female student named Sutton and fell in love with it for a girl. I think it's a great name for a girl or boy.

I know some Suttons. It is a very southern name to me, I like it!
