Rec your lightweight stroller?

Need to get one asap, for a trip on Friday so I can't order online.  We have big Jeep one with the 3 wheels, but its just too big sometimes!  I have been back and forth and now am thinking I need to get one....

I really want to keep it under $100, more like $60

So, I'm thinking I would get the Chicco C6, also maybe the Mia Moda, but they don't have a snack tray (ie. one more barrier for her, so she won't want to lunge out!) or places for our stuff (drink holders, ect.) Not sure it that will be a big deal, but I am looking at those (Jeep and Britax) and they look almost as big as my Jeep!

Any advice?  What do you have? Love? Hate?

Thanks!

  • I love my graco mosaic. My maclaren volo is lighter and is pretty good. I like the graco better, I feel it is sturdier. But if you want under 10 lbs go with the maclaren.

  • If you aren't all, I'd recommend the Joovy Kooper.  I love everything about it save the height.  I'm 5'10 and DH is 6'4 and the handle does not telescope and it is simply too short for us.  After awhile it's just plain uncomfortable and annoying for us to push.

  • B/C it is our only stroller, I LOVE my Mac Quest, but that doesn't seem to be what would fit your needs. It's great for trips b/c it's so lightweight and easy fold/unfold, but no snack tray and limited basket space.

When we were shopping, I loved the lightweight Graco's (the Mosaic and I think they have another one that's lightweight). May be more your speed since they are under $100, have the tray/cupholder/basket/etc. It was still pretty easy to maneuver and fairly light.

Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

This is why we went with Maclaren over Graco...I'm 5'9" and had to hunch a little to push the Graco.
