Switching between formula brands?

LO has a pedi appt. tomorrow, so I plan on asking the doctor, but I wanted to know if any of you have switched between formula?  We were given some Enfamil formula from a friend, but LO normally eats Carnation Good Start.  Would it mess up his tummy or would it be ok? 

Also, have any of you used the store brands of formula?  Has it worked just as well as the name brands?

Its possible it will hurt his tummy. If Good Start works fine I wouldn't try another one but ask your pediatrician.

We were sort of in the same boat.. LO was on Gerber good start and we got some freebier simalic formula in the mail. I decided to switch to that kind and he became fussy and spit up so I switched back to Gerber and everything is fine again.

I would check the ingredients in them.  As far as the store brands they have the same ingredients as some of the name brands, so again just check the ingredients to make sure they are the same and you should be fine.
