Melmax***

OK!  Here we go!

This is the red hydrangea.  This bloom is really, really small, but all the others have changed already:

Here is a bigger bloom, that has faded to a really pretty green.  It starts bright red, then it goes to a dark reddish brown and then green:

The pink ones I want to change to blue:

Impatiens.  Notice the mess on the ground from the dog knocking the whole thing over:

  • butting in . . . that looks beautiful J. I love the pink ones. I have one hydrangea but it's the pretty blue color.  I am jealous with all your pretty flowers (and green grass). Check out my blog - I have pics of our dead grass due to the water ban. It's so sad!

  • Just.......beautiful!!!!!!!!!  Everything looks fantastic J, you've done a really great job.  It IS amazing how small things start out in may, and how big they get by August!

  • Oh, and that red hydrangea is really a pretty color.  Is that a FAE?

  • Thanks, C!  I am off to check your blog in a sec.  Its been a while!

Thanks, M!  Yes, it is a FAE.  I just love how the red is not pastel-ey.  The first pic looks a lot more pink than what it really is.

I had no idea how different it all looked until this post.  I started cracking up when I saw the before of the urn.
