Testing trigger

I want to test to see when my trigger leaves my system. I have a ton of OPKs left since they never worked for me. ( used them for 6 cycles and never got a +... even though I had temp shifts) I used an OPK the day after I took the trigger to make sure it ( the trigger) was working and thankfully got a +.  Anyways, do you ladies use OPKs or cheap HPTs to test to see when the trigger leaves?

    I don't have an answer but I'm triggering this month and am interested in testing out the trigger.  I also have a ton of OPKs but will buy cheapies if I have to.

    I would rec'd cheapie HPTs.  That way once you get a negative (trigger is tested out) you can use the same brand to test for a BFP and know that it is reliable.  If you use different tests it may make you wonder if a BFP test is accurate.

    I don't.  I know seeing a + for any reason, even if I logically know it's the trigger, would really fvck with my head.

    I think this is also why I would use the OPK;so I can at least say "it was only on an OPK" but I agree with what Reb says about wanting to keep it consistant.

    Hi, I used the internet cheapies and tested it out.  It took about 8 days.  I did it so IF I were to get 2 lines I would know if it was the trigger or an acutal bfp.  Best of luck to you!
