I LOVE the name Ava Layne, but since Ava has become so popular, I've moved on the Lyla. Lyla Layne obviously sounds silly, so I'm looking for a middle name. Our last name is one syllable and starts with a "G".
I'd also love to know which spelling you prefer: Lyla or Lilah?
Here are some things I've come up with so far, but I'd love to hear any suggestions you may have.
Lyla Charlotte
Lyla Kate (too short?)
Lyla Scarlett
Thanks for your time!

Re: Middle name suggestions for Lyla/Lilah
Lilah Kate or even Lilah Katherine?
ETA: I didn't see your spellign question the first time. I prefer Lila and Lilah to Lyla,
I prefer Lila, no (H). I love the mn Grace but it is pretty popular.
I like Lila or Lyla, no H.
Lila Jane is super cute!
I have a one syllable last name and I have a Lila Catherine.
I prefer Lilah to Lyla 100%. Beautiful name
Lilah Kate sounds a little choppy with a one syllable last name, although it isn't too bad. I like both of your other mn, but Lilah Charlotte wins.
Other suggestions:
Lilah Elisabeth
Lilah Hazel
Lilah Violet
Lilah Genevieve
Lilah Juliet
Lilah Corinne
Lilah Vivienne
Lilah Elaine
I like Lyla spelling.
Lyla Anne
Lyla Elizabeth
Agree. The H always makes me want to change the pronunciation to "Lill-uh", for some reason.
And I actually prefer short middle names, even with a short last name. I have a 2 syllable first name, 1 syllable middle name, and 1 syllable last name... and I always thought it flowed well. I think both Kate and Jane are beautiful with Lyla.
