Thoughts on these two names together?

My daughters name is Ella and my husband really likes the name Ava for our second little girl who is on the way...I like the name, but are they too close? Is it too rhymey? or does it really matter?

I think it's a great set. Similar styles, rhythm, everything. I'm not saying you wont get tongue-tied every now and then, but I think they're a lovely combination.

I like both names but they are too close for my liking. A friend of mine has two daughters named Alyssa and Alexa and she regrets picking such similar names.

I actually have a friend that has girls Ella and Ava.  They are the most adorable girls.

I think they work great together!!!  No offense to pp but I don't think they are the as matchy as alexa and alyssa, those, yes are way too similar
