Is there a ~24 mo growth spurt?

My DS is almost 22 months and since Monday he has been sleeping tons, like 12-13 hrs at night and a 2-3 hr nap and eating me out of house and home (usually he's somewhat picky).  He's totally pleasant when he's awake and not acting sick or anything, so it kind of reminds me of a growth spurt. 

Just wondering if anyone else noticed one around this age?

I feel like my almost 2.5 year old is going through one now! She's eating so much lately!

I'm experiencing the excessive sleeping here too. She sleeps anywhere from 12-13 hrs at night and a 2-3 1/2 hr long nap. I've was waking her if she goes longer than 3 1/2 hrs for her nap...and have recently starting waking her after 3 hrs.

Not that I'm complaining, but glad to hear I'm not alone in being curious about it.
