Nursery trash can

I don't want to get a diaper genie or anything like that. I was wondering for those of you who are just using a regular trash can, what size did you get?

Re: Nursery trash can

  • We bought a standard 13 gallon trash can with a push-button lid. Didn't see a point in a diaper genie, especially as we're planning to use cloth and just needed something our wet bag would fit in (although we're still in sposies for the next few days.)

  • We got THIS TRASH CAN...and will be emptying it daily.  We like the size and how it fits in the room.

We bought a Simple Human trash can from Target.  I can't find it online, but I think it's the 13 liter capacity round one.

  • We're going to get a stainless steel one with a lid.  Pee diapers will get thrown in there and emptied daily, while everything else will get taken directly out to the garage.

  • I just bought a small wicker trash can from Target.  I have no interest in a diaper genie, not sure why!  I'll just put diapers in the regular trash, we empty it a lot anyway.

  • we'll be using a 10L simple human trash can from target (a little stainless steel one). it's small but i figure we'll empty it ever other day or so, i'd rather not leave poop laying around! plus our nursery is fairly small so if we had anything larger it would take up too much space.
