I delivered my first baby there a few weeks ago, everything was awesome. I don't have any experience with the old rooms to compare to but I have no complaints. It's beautiful! When we moved from the delivery room to our hospital room, they played a lullaby over the pa system. It was so sweet! Then during our stay when we heard the song we knew a new baby was coming over!

Aw, yea the lullaby song made me teary when i was getting wheeled into the mommy baby area, but that was last year. Can you describe the room? I think the difference is they are supposed to be a lot bigger. When i was there in Dec.09, there was about an inch of room between my hubby's pullout couch, and for me to open the bathroom. The room was extremely tiny
The difference is night and day! The old rooms looked like closets. My niece was born there in 2007 and I was in shock by the mother/baby rooms. My brother spent the night in a chair, not even a pull out one!
The new rooms are huge. They all have their own bathroom, a recliner for a guest and small couch that also pulls out for a guest. They all have flat screen tvs and plenty of cabinet space
I was there in November 2008 and didn't they the rooms were terrible, so I can't even imagine what they're like now. They weren't enormous rooms, but that's not a huge deal in my opinion. We had a private bathroom, although it didn't have a shower. The chair next to the bed did pull out into a bed, although I can see how having an additional couch would be nice. Looking forward to seeing it for the next delivery!
