I just bought a ton of fall/winter clothes for ds with a huge sale at gap, thanks to one of you ladies. DS is currently in 18-24 month tops for baby gap, he is roughly 23 lbs and about 32 inches. The size guidelines say he should be in 18-24 for a good deal more in weight and height, but his shirts look like they just fit perfectly now.
I ordered the next size up in shirts, so a size 2. and 18-24 months in pants...he he is growing out of 12-18 now. I'm worried though that they are going to be HUGE on him. What's your experience on their growing and gap sizes. thanks!
Re: Baby Gap sizing question
The boys have been in 12-18 for 3 months (they are 13.5 months now) and still have room, I'd guess till the end of the summer.
They tend to outgrow them a month or so before the age on the tags. I bought 18-24 for fall/winter.

I think they're pretty true to size and hold up well after a few washings. I just ordered Casey some fall stuff in the 18-24 months size. Right now the 18-24 months on her fits but is just a tad big, so it'll be perfect to grow into.
I'd probably get them the 18-24 month size shirts though. I mean if they aren't tight on them now then I'm sure they'll still fit in a few months.
Also, Casey is 25lbs and 31", so it's funny how body size is so different for kids because the 18-24 month clothes for her is just a tad big (as stated above)
