I had two people friend request me on FB. I've had them in "limbo" for about a week. I just can't commit to their friendship, I guess. lol. I don't add people to up my friend count, and I only accept friends that I actually talk to. One girl is a friend of SIL's, and she loves DD. So I guess she wants to be able to look at DD's pictures. The other girl I trained with for a month 5 years ago.
I feel bad not accepting them, but then again, I don't really talk to them, so why would I add them, kwim? Anyone else like this. Do you keep friend requests you are unsure of waiting for a while?

There was some girl from college who I had in limbo for a month or more, I finally denied it and got another request. She then started messaging me asking her if I remembered her and why I'm not excepting her (I think I got 3 messages). I finally sent her a message saying I don't accept people that I don't talk to or are not family members, so I haven't heard from her since.
I think if you really don't want them to be friends, then deny them. They probably won't be like the strange girl I mentioned. If it were me I'd probably accept the first girl you mentioned (if you don't mind her looking at pictures of DD) and deny the second one.
Um, I can't see anything extra while awaiting a response to a friend request than I could before I requested it?

She has the nerve to friend you on FB? I think that's pretty ballsy of her. She's probably trying to get info on your DH through your profile. Deny away, my dear.
I usually know right away if I want to add them or not, so not long. There have been a few from people who were REALLY big douches in HS, and they are still waiting to be added/ignored (it's been at least 6 months since they requested.)
