Weaning, a few questions....

DS is 13 mos now, and we're going on vacation on thurs, and I wanted to completely wean him by then. (I am only Bfing at night) The other day I cried thinking it was the last time. Its so bittersweet.. Anyway, how did you cope with emotions? Also, how long did it take your breasts to adjust? What did you do to ease engorgement and pain? How did LO do at bedtime when you didn't BF him/her?
