Making music toy rec please

in Success after IF
Jake loves making noise (as do most little boys) and I'd like to give him a toy that he can bang/hit/play with that makes music - not something that makes music at the press of a button. So aside from a pots and a wooden spoon, does anyone have a great toy suggestion?

    Leap frog has some pretty cool stuff for that.  The boys have the drum from leap frog - it goes through the alphabet and numbers as they hit the drum.

    This is one of my favorite toys. Elizabeth got it at Christmas around 7 months and loves it even more now.

    ETA: Oops, sorry, this is one that you push buttons to make music. I'm still working on my coffee, sorry!! :)

    DD has a little xylophone that we got from a resale shop (it's a dinosaur shape by little tikes I believe, or one of those companies) and she loves it!! She'll sit for a very long time and hit it, and loves when we pretend to sing along with her :) She also loves maracas that we found there and a tambourine. I believe Target has a musical instrument kit too. We were just looking for cheaper options to foster DD's musical talents :)

    OK, here's one that fits your specs this time :)

    We got this as a hand-me-down and Elizabeth loves to bang on the keys. And she'll take blocks and bang them on the xylophone part.

    Oh, and I take back that "most boys" like to make noise...as your girls are probably pros at making a bunch of happy noise too!!!
