Boy: Cole Edward (according to DH, people won't automatically assume Twilight if we use Edward as a middle name)
Girl: No idea, but ever since I was little I have wanted to name my daughter Nina Rose b/c my grandfather always called me "Nina" (means little girl) as a child and "Rose" is short for Rosalie, my grandmother's name. DH isn't sold, but I really like Charlotte.
The two I have are: Lillian Elizabeth and Carter Allen (Lilly's name came from nowhere. We just liked it. Carter's is a protofeminist naming of a son after a traditional family name, both of which come from FEMALE SURNAMES in our family. I'm SO PROUD of my silent feminism, I just have to share. ).
This one will be either Samuel Robert (Sam = requested of God, son of Hannah in the Bible and Robert is a family name) or Elsa Clare (Elsa = nana's name and Clare from my stepfather's much-dispised middle name Clarence).
This one will be either Samuel Robert (Sam = requested of God, son of Hannah in the Bible and Robert is a family name) or Elsa Clare (Elsa = nana's name and Clare from my stepfather's much-dispised middle name Clarence).
I LOVE these names! I have always loved Samuel because of what it means and now with the loss the meaning makes me love it even more. BTW, my secretary's BFs name is Clarence and they named their daughter Clarice. I can't help but think of Silence of the Lambs when she speaks of her child. Clare is a much nicer option, IMO.
Liesl is a top contender. We also like Eliza. My grandma's maiden name is Hannan which I love for a girl, but hubs thinks it's too masculine. I think a boy named Hannan would get teased and called Hannah. I hope we can use it as a middle name since my gma was the last Hannan and Bryum is from hubs side of the family.

DH has a weird rule about names I have to explain first. Our last name starts with "N" and he only likes first names that either start with N also or names where the last consonant is N. So for example, Nathan would work and so would Caroline, in theory. If our last name started with L, names that would fit into the rule would be Logan or Michelle.
Anyway, with that being said, this baby will be named Joaquin Jose Luis. Joaquin is a name we have always loved because it's Spanish in origin, like DH, it's my step-grandfather's name and it's the name of DH's oldest living relative. Jose Luis is DH's dad's name.
For a girl, we would have gone with Naomi Rebecca. We just like the name Naomi, there's really no special meaning or family stuff with it. It is common enough that it doesn't sound made up, but neither of us has ever actually met a Naomi in real life, so it must not be over-used. Rebecca is my mom's first name.

No idea right now. For a girl, I still like "Honey" and "Holly," but I'm not sure. I like "Heidi," but it kind of reminds me of Mr. Hanky ("Heidi Ho!") so I don't know.
For a boy, I have no earthly idea!

Girl - Peyton, Addison (I know both are super popular so they are probably out now), Arden, Georgia and Grace. but I have been really leaning towards Lucille Paige lately. Lucille is my grandmothers name and we can call her Lucy.
Boys - Jackson, Nolan, Elliot, Harrison, Hudson
Of course these are my choices - DH has more traditional taste so who knows!
DH and I just can't seem to agree. Right now our possible choice is:
Boy: Jacob Kapp (I need a J name that we agree on and so far this is the only one, even though I hate the Twilight implications). It is a tradition in my side of the family to pass down the initials on the male side and since DH's name is Jason, the initials are JKR.
Girl: Abigale Louise (Louise is my middle name and my moms.) Abigale is the only girls name that we can agree on. DH likes things that are too trendy. I like older classical names.
Forever buddy to Angelica; Natural Miscarriage Jan. 2008 @ 11 weeks; 2 years of BFFN's; DX: Unexplained IF (RE thinks IF is due to tubal issues); IUI #1 & 2= BFFN; IUI#3 = BFP, resulted in Cornual ectopic pregnancy; IUI #4 - 6 =BFFN; Our next endeavor... We're still tossing around names for a future baby. The baby we lost would have been named either Liam Samuel or Juliana Grace. We're both stubborn and many names have been vetoed in discussions for future kids.

Momma to three boys:
Henry - 4yo
Alex - 18mo

He only lived here on Earth for an hour, but he will live in our hearts forever.
m/c #1: sept '09, m/c #2: july '10
girl.. Avery Elizabeth or Claire Elizabeth..The mn is my SIL's who is currently dying from ovarian cancer..so we would like to honor her
boy..Carter Scott or Carter Boyd..Scott is my dad and brothers mn and Boyd is my maiden name. I have an old college roommate that named her son Carter Scott last year so I might feel a little weird if I named my Ds that too even though I never see her anymore. I also like Cooper, Connor and Parker but DH is pretty sold on Carter.

Our first boy will be Simon Kelly, both surnames from our families.
Our original girl name was Josephine Edith (for our grandmothers) but lately I've fallen in love with Nell Isadora (also related to grandparent names). I think we would decide which suited our girl better after she was born.

Right now, I'm thinking 5, 6 and maybe 7, depending on my humor and general stamina.
I think Six and Seven are awful names. I'm totally alright with Five, though.
Six is not awful. Helloooo, didn't you watch Blossom?
Besides, when there's no actual human being to live with the name, you can name it whatever. It's kind of liberating, actually. Like how we want to name our next dog Helmet.

I was going to make the Blossom reference, but I didn't want to suggest there'd be a sixth. But BB up there is pushing for seven, apparently.

Oh, no no no! I can't have you think that. Ladies, I'm not even pushing for a fifth! This is coming from someone who likes the name "Apple." I was thinking purely of number names and not meanings. Well, I am pushing for a fifth. A healthy baby for number five.

We had decided on Molly or Lidia for a girl. DS is Connor Thomas. Another boy would be nameless....I like Liam, but thanks to ahole Tori Spelling everyone else does too.
Connor Thomas 6/6/08. Discovered missed miscarriage at 17 wks 3 days, D&C 11/25/09.
Please, please, please - BFP 5/21/11, EDD 2/1/11. Beta@12DPO=52, Beta@14DPO=158. U/S 7/7/11 shows strong baby measuring a couple days ahead!!!
For a boy Benjamin Phillip (middle name in honor of fil) our girls names keep getting used by people we know. But I know whatever name we pick for a girl Holly will be the middle name (after my mil who passed when dh was a teenager).

The baby we lost was going to be Wyatt Henry or Morgan Kate. I'm not sure on those names, now. I'm thinking Jacob Henry or Henry Jacob. (Henry must be used. It was my beloved Gpa's name). I love Lily Kate, but DH isn't wild about Lily.
Re: Ok so, what are your baby names?
Luke Henry for a boy
Avlene May for a girl (phonetic spelling of an Irish name that means "longed for, and desired child. The Irish spelling is Aibhlin.)
For girls I like: Leah, Maren, Molly, & Kelly.
For boys I like: Jack, Liam, Colin, and Gus (I know! It's a family name, and flame away, but I think it's adorable)
I have an absurdly long list. I'd need to marinate for a long time before choosing.
Graham, Alex, Quinn, Ewan, Simon, Elliott, Kieran
Anna, Vivien, Rowan, Audra, Neve, Simone, Eleanor, Molly, Clara, Adele
I kind of already touched on this in my post, but what the hell.
When I was pregnant, I had decided on Liam James for a boy.
However, Liam is quite popular now, so I'd go with Henry James (James was my granddads name)
Girls, I always have a hard time deciding
Isla (pron. Eye-la) Claire
Evie Rose (not sold on that middle name)
Oh.. I also like the name Daisy too...

For a girl...Charlotte...DH is Charles and he thought it would be cute to call her Charlie for short...which I think is super cute.
For a boy...Carter...although we are still discussing this.
The LO will have an Asian middle name which my MIL will give them...because I am totally not leaving that up to DH!

Cooper and Tanner are the top picks for boys. Middle name will probably be Dean since that's Dh's and it's Miller's middle name too.
Idella for a girl. Possibly Mae for a middle name.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!
