What to fill a pinata with?

I am doing 2 pinatas for DS's party. We have kids ranging from <1- 16 coming (even with the lack of responses) so I am doing 2. 1 of them for the little kids that you pull a string, and 1 for the older ones that they can hit. For the older ones, I'm just going to buy a bag of pinata fill, but obviously don't want to give little kids that stuff. I was thinking boxes of raisins, little baggies of goldfish crackers (is that a good idea?), and idk what else.

What would you put in there?

Re: What to fill a pinata with?

  • Small bottles of bubbles, a couple "gold" tickets for small but too big for pinata toys. I think the raisins and other little packaged snacks sound great though.

  • If you knit/crochet or are crafty you could do little fabric foods, or I-spy toys. Or little felt hats rolled up, or even small superhero capes folded up.

  • I LOVE the idea of "gold" tickets. Smile Thanks!
