At our house these kinds of things always end up under the couch cushions or in a toy box.

He had about 6 last summer, and is so skinny that they are all still plenty big. I got the rest on clearance at the end of the season last year.

Good thing, because we're now living in the woods and he's perpetually filthy.

Umm... I think Annalise has at least 14 pairs or shorts and skirts too. I have her closet organized into outfits to I don't notice quite as much.

I usually find missing clothes in different bags from when we go away for the weekend or to the beach or where ever.

How often do you do laundry? We started off with only 3-4 pairs that fit ds at the beginning of the summer but had to pick up a few more pairs to have enough. I try to do a couple of loads of laundry during the week but generally do most of it on the weekends. Ds could never manage to get through the week without running out of clothes until we bought some more.

Crazy, I think Reid has 4pair of real shorts and MIL bought 3 of those.

I feel for you with the laundry, I did laundry all weekend and I still can't find some of their clothes.

We have a light and a dark hamper.  If DH even looks at a piece of clothing,we he puts in in the hamper.  So every other day I'd say we wash lights/darks.  We do laundry every day, I guess.  It takes 20 seconds BUT we totally have piles of laundry in our basement.  We dress from there!!
