63 shots of progesterone that ended yesterday night! Started on April 30th. My RE said I could stop last week at 10 weeks but I finished the bottle. Of course the last shot gave me a huge painful lump.

I am happy to be done with them, but very nervous. Did anyones RE take bw after you stopped to confirm that its okay?

I cannot believe I did 63 shots! Or DH did and I all I did was take the pain of them haha.

Congrats, honey!  This is a huge milestone!

If I remember correctly, I think my RE wanted me to come in for one more blood draw , but it was around the same time I had an OB appointment, so my OB just did the draw instead.

My doc never checked my levels, but that might have been because I stayed on progesterone support until 14 weeks because of all the bleeding I had.  I'm sure you'll be perfectly fine   But I know I was a basket case coming off cold turkey!

What an awesome milestore to celebrate!!!  My RE only took blood work b/c he had me stop them very early (at like 7 weeks) due to high progesterone levels.

Why are the last shits always the most painful!?! Mine left a lump on my ass for weeks. Congrats on being done!!!

congrats crazy woman that subjects herself to extra shots that are probably unneccessary but the fact that she takes them is the reason I love her.

I only had my p4 drawn once during my pregnancy so far and that is when I asked to come off of my progesterone early because I hated it. My levels were high then. I was told that once the babies have their own amniotic sac that they are producing their own progesterone and supps are entirely unneccessary.

Congrats mama! Your body has taken over and it's doing it's job

Did I get checked...OMG that is an understatement! CCRM is insane about checking your levels - I had my E2 and P4 checked probably about 10 times between my BFP and 10 weeks. Seriously! And it was all fine and probably completely unnecessary, which is very likely the case with you too!

I remember when you had yours checked. I am sure its fine because everyone goes through it. It was just a security blanket of sorts, and now its gone.

Yay for being done!!  My RE had me stop all supps at 12 weeks and never did bw.
