Overnight trips with LO

How old was LO the first time you took them on an overnight trip?  DH and I were thinking about heading the the beach for the long weekend in October.  Miss C would be about 2 months old.

    We went to Chattanooga when James was right at 6 weeks old.  He did great!

    We took Mitchell to the beach at 4 weeks old.  I was in a wedding in Gulf Shores, and it was great.  Both my OB and the pedi was cool with it, and he did fine. My mom was also a guest at the wedding so she helped DH (not that he need much) while I was off doing wedding things.

    6 months old- we had to go to Indiana for my aunts funeral.  She's going on her second one to Atlanta tomorrow.  But if we had gone anywhere earlier we'd had no problems taking her.

    J was 10 weeks when we took him home (3.5 hours).  He did great!  He slept most of the way and ate the rest of the time :)  It's really easy to travel with them so small, they need no entertainment!

    I took PJ to New Orleans a couple weeks ago...He did awesome...go for it!
