As you girls know, I am supposed to get in the car at any constant nagging pain. After running around the pool with Mya today all of a sudden I felt like I needed to get out because I was getting extreme cramps, but nothing going to my back. I let Mya stay in and I sat in the lawn chair, but eventually I had to tell her to get out because I needed to go in the house to lay down. (Yes, I should have got in the car, but I am stubborn.)
After getting dressed and drinking 2 glasses of water I laid down and the cramping intensified, but nothing compared to my labor pains from last time. (Again, I should have got in the car.) After 2.5 hours of this I give Josh a call to see what time he is coming home. He could tell that something wasn't right and he said that he was on his way. By the time he got home, the cramping had lessened. He was so angry with me that I didn't get in the car to be checked. I think that it was more of the fact that my midwife called me before I went in the pool to check in and I told her that Ava wasn't going anywhere.
We will now see what the evening brings.
Re: I think that I got Josh's hopes up...
I will die if I go to the doctors on Thursday and she says that I am not dialated.
Ash- Have you been thinking more about induction?
I'm trying to get used to the idea. If my BP is high at my next appointment they will most likely induce, so I'm trying to prepare for that.
Actually, I might be sad if they say we can wait another week because I'm getting used to the idea of having a baby this week. I'm still hoping he'll come on his own, though!
Hey listen lady... NO messing around!!! You feel cramps, YOU GET IN THE CAR! We don't want no babies born ON THE WAY to the hospital!
Now Ava, stop playing with mommy and send her into REAL labor! heehehe
xoxoxo!!!
