Hey Ladies,
When I go back to work in the fall we are going to have to put M in daycare and I have NO idea how to interview the providers we will be looking at. What questions did/do you ask? How much are you paying at this age? What is most important to you?
Thanks
Much Love~
Re: Please help, re: daycare questions
Agreed - Google questions to ask at daycare, they have some good lists out there.
We just wanted a place that felt right to us when we visited - I think you have to go with your gut when it comes to a decision like this. We liked one center, but then at the last minute we were referred to a woman who does it out of her home and we couldn't be happier about having DS with her.
Just take a day and go to a few that are convient to you or that you've gotten good recommendations for. Drop in w/o questions. Ask what you think on the spot. You'll be able to cross off a bunch on first impression. Go home and make a list after you've sat on it and then go back a week or two later with the real questions to just your favorites.
Or maybe this only works in my area where we have tons of cr@ppy daycare centers.
