L&D visit yesterday (baby is fine!) and induction scheduled

I went into L&D yesterday due to decreased fetal movement (I hadn't felt the babe more than 3 or 4 times and it was almost 3:00p). We were monitored for almost 1.5 hours until they were satisfied with the babe's movements so we could go home. I was so relieved we were able to leave! I was having contractions 15 min apart, but I only felt one of them.

I had my final appointment today and I am finally dilated to a 1 and 50% effaced. It's nice to know that there's at least some progress. We scheduled induction to start Thursday night at 7:00. They'll insert cervadil overnight and start pitocin the next morning, should I need it. (They keep telling me that sometimes cervadil is enough to start labor. We'll see.) I'm glad to have an end date (I'll be 41w1d on Thursday), but I do hope this baby decides to come on his/her own in the next couple days!

    I am glad everything went fine with your visit.  I know you are ready for your baby with the PUPPS going on, I know a friend who had that and I know you are so uncomfortable!  Hang in there!!!

    Good luck this week...maybe something will happen on its own before Thursday even.  But even if not, you being dilated already will certainly help with the induction!

    I'm glad your visit to L&D went smoothly and I'm soooo glad you have an end in sight, even if it may be by induction. I can't wait to hear your good news on Friday (or earlier)! :)

    I bet it feels much better to have a plan!  Glad things are looking good.

    Glad to hear all is fine with LO -- though I admit, I did just read this on your blog :) I will be crossing my fingers for you that LO comes before you need an induction. But if not, oh well. You'll be meeting your babe soon enough either way :) wahoo!

    I was wondering if you had your LO!  Glad to hear you have an end in sight - but fingers crossed that your babe decides to arrive on his/her own.  Curious as to what you're having - Team Green!!
