Introduction...

Hi, my name is Niki. We just moved to Racine County a few weeks ago for DH's job. Currently I am a stay-at-home mom, trying to keep myself busy in this brand new place-- DH works 13+ hrs a day. We are from Northern MI, so this 'bigger city' thing is so new to me. I'd love to find a 'friend' or two near me that could give me rec's on different things....maybe even meet up later down the road for play dates or coffee. Smile We're in a rural portion of Northern Racine County...Anyone else??

    Hello Niki!

    Welcome to Wisconsin! I saw you replied to my previous post, Im up in Appleton. But Im orginally from the Milwaukee area and all my family lives down there. In fact my dad lives in Sturtevant, which is right by Racine, off of highway 11.  While I'm not exactly close, if you have any questions, let me know.  I can also recomend a babysitter(my sister) if you ever need one! Maybe we can bump friends at least! lol

    Welcome to Racine. I lived up there for a couple of years and had my son at Saint Mary's. I am also from Northern Michigan.  Are you a Yooper or a Troll? If you need any recommendations on anything please let me know.

    Hey girls! Thanks for the reply. MrsCarrie, LOL--I actually live in Sturtevant too! I have since learned that I am not Northern Racine, but more South Racine. Embarrassed Oops, only took a month to figure that out. haha. I would love to chit-chat with either one of you sometime!

    Hey!  I'm in Kenosha so close enough.  My DH works long hours as well, 7 days a week and was working 12 hr days, now is around 10hrs a day.  I'd be happy to make rec's to you from what I do know of the area, just ask!

    Sorry it took me awhile to get back. I'm from Menominee.  So not as far north as you are but i did vacation up there as a child. We would always go and see the locks.
