FSA accounts and DS

Good Morning Ladies!

I know I have seen some mention that they were able to use their flexible spending to purchase DS. How were you able to find out that it is eligible? I would assume it is the same for every plan since it is federally regulated which items are eligible for reimbursement with FSA? I just can't find a list that shows it on it.

I just called the company that adminsters our HSA and asked.  They told me I needed a letter from my doctor that the DS was being used for me for a medical reason.  That's all we had to do.  They keep the letter on file for future receipts.  We did the letter but didn't end up having enough money in our HSA to claim any of the DS.
