We use Planet because I can pick it up at Whole Foods, but we just had to strip our CDs so I'm not sure how much longer we'll be sticking with it. Hopefully cutting down to 1/4 the recommended amount will do the trick.

  • I have used Planet since January and never had any problems until now, when they have started to smell. I don't know if that's normal or if I should switch detergents.

  • The ladies I spoke with at the cloth diaper store I was at yesterday reccommended the Seventh Generation baby detergent.   I got some at Whole Foods today but it was a little expensive.   They told me to only use 1/4 the reccommended amount.

  • Rockin' Green.  No ammonia issues here.  We do have to use more than the recommended (we use 4 tbsp) amount though.

  • I've recently started using Tiny Bubbles and I really like it.
  • We had such issues with Planet (not rinsing clean, stripping = HOLY BUBBLES), ammonia stink, etc. that we switched to Tide Free & Clear, no issues whatsoever since. I think partly it is because we have hard water - powdered detergents rinse out better.
  • We use Country Save. Pretty affordable, quite effective, and this box is going to last us forever!

  • I use Rockin Green. If you ever have any laundry problems, you can e-mail Kim (the CEO) and she is super helpful.

I bought this at Target and the register printed at $2 off coupon (I think it retails for $15.99 at Target) for my next purchase of 7th Generation detergent in the store.  When I went back to buy more I r'vd another $2 off coupon.  I"m not sure how long this promotion will go on for, but I've done a little stocking up.
