E survived her first cross country adventure. We left on the red eye last night from LA got re- routed through Dallas & made it to north Carolina via Virginia this afternoon. A very long day, but I'm so proud of my little girl. She definately earned her wings. Her grandpa was a pilot & will be very proud!
on another note, I was very impressed by American. Even w/ mechanical delays they were wonderful. They were extremely accomodating to us flying w/ an infant. E made friends with all the pilots & FA's.

Re: We're here!
Sounds like our flight back from DC over Christmas. We left DC, flew to Chicago, got stranded there overnight, next morning flew to JFK, then on to LAX. Caroline did pretty well on most of the flights except for the JFK to LAX flight. She was just so done by then.
Glad you guys made it safe and sound. I wish I could see you while you're out here!!!
Shannon I totally had visions of panhandling for diapers, like you told me about so we literally stashed them everywhere! I am really glad that we did because we were in Dallas for almost 4 hours and none of the airport shops were really open until we started boarding, so we would have been SOL. We were more lucky than some people.
