Sand and paint furniture??

Anybody know where I can go or who I can get to re-do a couple of pieces of furniture I have? I am doing another nursery and a I have some nice pieces that I would like to have painted. I feel like it's a waste to go buy exact new ones when I already have them but just want a different color.

Thanks!

  • If you or your H is handy (or anyone in your family), it's not that difficult to do yourselves. We did Bella's crib & dresser among other pieces in the house.

  • Thanks- if I can't find a place I might have to put the hubs to work :)

  • This dresser was oak and we sanded, repainted, and added crystal knobs. You would have never guessed that we had no idea what we were doing and only spent $50.00 on materials. I researched having a professional do it and it was going to cost about $300.00. It took some time, but the finished piece turned out beautiful and I am proud to tell my daughter that her parents refinished her great grandmothers dresser. :)
