Thumb sucking falls under 'things I'm not going to stress about until baby is over a year'. I'll take whatever self soothing methods my little one comes up with! Enjoy the quiet!

That's a good call. Maybe I will put it under that category too! Besides, what can I really do about it now anyway? She won't take a paci, she spits it out. I am still a little worried she will become one of those kids that talks to you with a thumb in their mouth. Ew.
I know what you mean, I saw a 5 year old at a restaurant last night with a blankie and sucking his thumb and I was repulsed. 5 is way too old, 3 months is the perfect age
And you're right, there's nothing you can do now anyhow!

If it makes you feel any better I was a thumb sucker until I was like 2 I believe. & ya know... I turned out relatively normal. LOL. Same thing with my brother, but he stopped even earlier then me.
